What do you guys think of it?
I like it alot, it's pretty sleek comes with a flatscreen display and saves deskspace. 
My only gripes are that it isn't very expandable...you can't add like another hard drive or upgrade anything inside but then again the old imac was like that too. |

Don't like it, I was kind of going towards a Mac for a while (an iBook), but I thought I'd be better off getting a laptopt and putting Linux and WinXP on it. Mac's just don't have the software support I need.

Yeah... Alot of people don't use macs for that very reason.
No software. but almost the entire graphic community like graphic artists, magazine editors use macs.
I decided that most of the software I use is on Mac... Photoshop 7, Dreamweaver...Painter 7. Come to think of it, most of that software was designed to run on a mac. |

| Just because Macs dun have the software support that Windows do, Macs still are good in their own ways. In fact, I just bought a new iMac as well...G4 processor, 600 Mhz, 40 GB HD, with RAVE graphics card. Souped up quite a bit with all the newest utilities and programs for iMacs at the present, as well. I like it! |

i think i'd rather have a PC.
although my first comp. was a Mac. it was a beast in '93. 33Mhz Performa with 8 Meg RAM and a 2x CD Drive. PURE POWER!! |

I rely too much on PC applications to get a mac - almost everything I have is PC only. I ain't givin' that up!

| Macs have an advantage to graphics artists, since they have the vector engines, but these computers really aren't great for gamers. I use both, I have my PC box and my Mac Box. Oh, and not to mention that now with Mac OS X, you get a full featured UNIX worstation for about $120! |
