| Yeah, so I left a desk lamp on near my PS2 on a vertical stand, and the lamp melted a hole in the top of the case. The machiene still works fine, I just wanted to know if there was any way I could replace the case without screwing the machiene and invalidating the warrenty. Any ideas? |

| You can buy cases at many online stores, Sony Japan also started selling the coloured cases recently. But you'll have to invalidate your warrenty if you want to replace the case. Sorry. |

| Isn't there some kind of Sony Repair center I can send it to? Has anyone else had this kinda problem? |

LMAO I had a lamp burn through a shade but your PS2 case? Ouch.
I know you can buy another case but ..the warranty issue might be a problem. You'd either have to get a new case, PS2, or be fragile with it since the machine still works anyway. |

| You can't use duct tape on it Drakan, ry using a mango. Or you can just leave it the way it is since you can play it fine. |

Grrr, that sux. I can't wait until we invent cold fusion light bulbs.
Anyways, I would care too much about invalidating your warranty. After a year it goes away I'm pretty sure. Plus even if your warranty was still there, its hella expensive to repair. Sony would charge a lot. |
