What you need is a video capture card, or a video card that has a TV tuner (or TV-in or TV-out... forget which).
Video cards with the capture ability allow you to plug things like consoles into your computer, and use your computer as if it were a TV. A good, fairly inexpensive card to start out with is the Hauppauge WinTV series, though you'll need a 3D accelerator card to use one. |

| Yeah, you need a video card with AV or an RF jack in it so you can hook it up to your computer.... from there I dunno what to do.. hahahaha.. sorry =P |

Why not just use a program like PSXplay or PSMplay? I'm not sure if they work with PS2 games, though I don't see why they wouldn't...

The two things I mentioned are programs that I've downloaded to copy/view things(FMVs, sound files) off my PS game discs. I don't know if they have anything available for PS2 games, but I could check...

PSXplay and PSMplay have their limits, as they can only play the individual video files on PSX discs. Final Fantasy VIII, for example, has most of its data smooshed into one file. You need a special utility to extract movies from FFVIII.
Then again, that's still only the FMV. Games seem to be relying less and less on FMV, and more on in-game cutscenes, so something like PSMplay wouldn't work out. Plus I doubt those programs work on PS2 discs anyway.
Once you've got a capture card, it's easy sailing (provided your computer's compatible) from there. You merely install the card into your PC, install the appropriate software, hook your console up to your computer, and capture away. Your school might even have a capture card, or a video card with a TV tuner, seeing as how schools are all newfangled and shiny nowadays. Try asking around. |

| I never knew PSX have there limit, well all I know is you need a specific video card to have the drive of PS2 to go in. |

PSMPlay also only reads certain discs, as some CD's like to change their file formats around and save the code to understand them to the CD. (Konami is notorious for this)
LMFAO @ Takumi: An RF jack on a computer? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. What goon would even TRY to put a coax cable to their computer. |
