| ok so far i know it requires PS2(duh) but what else do you need for online play..a special cable...I know you need a pc..but how much technology do you need to run this thing? |

This probably should have been posted in the FFX-XI section, but anyways.
You're going to need a PS2 broadband adapter, a PS2 keyboard, a PS2 hard drive, and the game itself, plus monthly pay-to-play fees. |

I've got no idea.
The game'll be about $40-$50
The adapter is about $50
The keyboard, I expect, would be around $15 or so
The hard drive's probably $100-$150
A lot of that stuff (hard drive, game, keyboard) will probably be packaged together, though. Expect to pay at least $100-$150 to get started.
If you've got a powerful PC, you might want to consider getting the PC version instead. |

| you don't need a pc, just a ps2 and the broadband adapter plus some kind of internet connection (i suggest dsl or better). Happy gaming |

No, you don't need a PC. There are two versions of the game, PC, and PS2.
You do need the PS2 hard drive, though. Keyboard too. |

| you might want to go searching around online if you havent already, thats pretty much the best chance. I alreday got my modem(adapter) and i have the game pre-ordered......but i wasnt sure i needed a harddrive till reading these posts |
