Aussies have more in common with Americans than England. The intelligence level is more or less the same and they kiss America's ass much more than they do England's.

The only reason they don't just give up being a British colony in everything but name is because it means a day off for the royal old hag's birthday.

I reckon we have a bit in common with both, but culture-wise a lot of things stem from England. The only thing we made up ourselves is a laid back attitude where we don't give a ****.
