OmG!
You have got to play that game.
It was originally released for SNES, and the Main Characters were Ness (An average guy [Also in SSB/M]), Paula (an average girl), Jeff (A supergenious) and Poo (an oriental fighter)
These guys were trying to Destry an evil force called gigas, which was originally was from the future, but tried to destroy the world from the past. But he controls a whole bunch of monsters and it is not easy to beat!

If you want to know what it was ALL about:

Spoiler : click to show/hide [ A bug named Buzz frome the future gives Ness The Sound stone and he is given the quest of going to the sound spots (I think) So anyways, you have to travel to each location, making new friends and enemies along the way, The most valuable are the MR. Saturns. After visiting each sound spot, You must go into Ness' mind and then destroy his evil part, in which he will gain a tremendous stat boost. Then, you must go back to the MR. Saturns and they will build you a time machine and then you must go back to the past and Defeat Gigas. ]

I recommend getting it of Amazon or ebay, because it is really a great game.

I've heard about it, but I have never played it. Sounds pretty sweet though...but also weird, in a demented way.

Oh, by the way, I am TLH...some of you older members may remember me...

DARK FALZ you are extremely uninformed.
First off, your mentioning Earthbound being REPETATIVE?
In no way can this game be considered repetative.
Literally 100 PSI Techniques, 200 Items, ExtremelyAdvanced System for its time, many characters interesting things to do, many towns, and only ONCE do you EVER return to a town to do a quest after one has already been done.

Saturn Valley. The first time through, then at the the end.

And by the way, Earthbound is NOT the first of the series and it was NOT released here first.

Mother I is a Japanese game released on Famicon a LOONG time ago. They sell the Beta of it for 1000$. Mother II was released after it, on FAMICON. THEN a couple of months later (6) it was released on the newer SNES console.

Zen Boulve:

Hell yeah! Silent Bomber, i played a japanese ISO of it a LONG time ago. like 2 years. Its so damn fun.. the game sort of like nowadays Shinobi in PS2 but with armanents and ****.
Gundam - Shinobi mix.

There is an Earthbound 0 (Zero) for the NES. I've been playing the rom for quite a while. It's a lot like Mother 2, but it's not as good. I didn't know it existed until my friend told me about it...

When did I ever say it was repetitive?
And which one Are you talking about? The only one I've played is Earthbound, And I don't think it has more than 100 PSI.

Ah, i mistook your Giygas battle repetative comment for one of Earthbound.

I have the players guide right next to me.
And i just said 100, because I rush sometimes.
its exactly 58.

Ah yes.. Earthbound 0 Was released here on NES, but only aruond 10,000 copies in some northern and eastern coast stores, which stopped production almost 10 years ago.

Man, they really should make a new game soon, cause it'd be cool to see Ness do his Omega PSI move in 3-D. It looked cool in the SNES version and starstorm too. Earthbound ws definitly overlooked in the US untill SSB/M
