What is a Clan/Guild?
A clan and a guild are the same thing. They are used at FFRepublic specifically for battling together in the FFR battle system against rival clans.
Rules
~ There can be a total of 10 members in your clan INCLUDING your clan leader/founder.
~ Up to but no more than 3 leaders per clan is allowed.
~ You may only be a member of 1 clan at anytime.
~ Topics in your clans are up to leaders/members however if it becomes spam and out of hand, the clan is subject to closing or deletion.
~ You must have at least 100 posts and be a member of FFR for over a month before you can start a clan.
~ Maximum of 3 allies at any time.
Registering Clans
In order to register your clan (if it hasn't been pre-registered) please PM Eternal Fire, Leillia or myself with details regarding your clan. Please include at least the name of the leader(s) if the leader(s) is not the person registering, and the name of the clan. If a clan is not registered in this thread within 2 days (48 hours) of it's creation, it will be deleted.
afterlab: An upcoming feature that will accompany the clans system will help automate the registration process. Until then, please do so this way.
Leillia: Since I mod this place now too....you can contact me to reg your clan as well.... I'm on quite often.... ^_~

Dormant Status:
If a clan is inactive for over 2 weeks, it will be deemed dormant. This means that "(Dormant)" will be added to the name of the thread and the thread shall be closed. The thread will be protected from deletion, and all members will still be members and unable to join a new clan. For the thread to be reopened please PM a moderator of the Republic Club Square.
