I'd love some C&C ^^ So far, it's going to be very simplistic. That seems to be a good trend with site layouts at the moment. My favourite bit is when you hover over the navigation bars. You get this nice gradient.
I'm not too sure, I think it's a little too pink. The catagory images, seperating the links are horrible, and the alignment of things could be improved too, such as dropping the main frame a few pixels to be online with the two side bars. I like the graphical work other than that, and I think all in all it's just one of those layouts you can put up with without any major concerns. The only major problem I have is those catagory headers, and also the background.
Heh... Well, I suppose colour preference varies between people.

Actually, it's supposed to be a bit off set like that. It looked far too boring when they were all at the one level.

The side bars are fine the way they are, but he's right about the pink. It's not really good design with color theory in mind. The pink background covers too much area and is too saturated in comparison to the lighter colors that offset it. Just slightly. And the fact that there are no complementary colors to offset the pink adds to it as well.

Whilst it's a nice layout and all the first thing that sprang to mind was "oh god not another of of these 'we provide exclusive high quality layouts and tutorials'" websites. =S

Actually, the difference with my site is the layouts will be designed for general use, unlike a lot of other layout sites. There will also be an extensive tutorial section. I'm trying to focus more on teaching people to make their own. Sure there will be premades, but that won't be the main focus after the revamp.
And aye, it's a lot of pink. The colours I used were pink, gray and purple, so it's not like it's ALL shades of pink. The background I actually don't like, and I'll be changing it to something darker when I have time. It's not very nice looking.
Heh...I guess you either like pink or you don't XD
