I just wrote a simple Banner Rotation script. Here it is:

.1] save this as banner.php

/*Do Not Edit*/



$random =  "data.txt";



$fp =  file($random);

srand((double)microtime()*1000000);

$rl =  $fp[array_rand($fp)];

echo $rl;

.2] then make a text file called data.txt. In that file enter the location of the image and the URL you want it to link to. Like this:

.3] Now upload them in a folder and call the banner on your site using <?php include('path/to/banner.php'); ?> or if you are using .shtml pages use this 

.4] youre done

, this will show a random banner on your site 8-)

Nice One! Although I dun really need it now

(We have Banner Rotator in the server remember Kula? :P) Anyways, nice script! GooD Work!

Too bad I have to make do with a free host...they dun allow php, MySQL, etc. It sucks, but I just can't dish out the money for a domain name, and no .com has offered to host me as of yet. When and if I get a domain name, I'll take full advantage of that script. In the mean time, oh well.

but that one cant open links in a new window and it was cool to make one

Soon I'll make a simple password protected admin CP where you can edit the links and pictures.

The script and admin CP is finaly done

the only thing left is to make a password protection. I'm not sure how I will do it. Here's a screenshot of the admin CP
