half Descent host?

are there any half descent hosts? I see so many people fighting over the ups and down of hosts. This is host good because, no but it is bad because. etc. etc.
I am willing to pay for one (since nowadays u cant get one without the money)
Will be looking for 10GIG+ space on a server that supposts PHP, MYSQL, CGI. Can anyone help? |

Dude, you will need a LOT of money for that. Or get a dedicated server (30-40GB) but that's about $150 to $300 a month.
www.aletia.com is very good, but not 10GB of space... |

Hmmm, 10 GB, I may be able to getcha what you need for maybe less than 100$ for sure.... say maybe 40-50$ ? Negotiable though, since I" m a nice guy =)

10Gigs is a helluva lot.... What ya gonna be uploading?! Mp3's, videos and WaReZ?! Blimey, all I needs is like 60Meg, I doubt I'd need much more than that any time soon. Anyhow, try http://www.clickherefree.com see if you can find a good free one (where I found my host).

I've found myself in the unexpected position of probably needing to buy a new domain solely for my wallpaper site. It's almost 40 MB of wallpapers already, and I have still so much more to create!
And this is on the same 200-mb server with my forums, AND where the FFO will be hosted, which will become quite a huge database most likely, too...  |

$10/month unlimited space. My uncle Delbert runs that place. 15 350Gig. clusters and over 30 application racks. Has the latest in all of CGI and is an Apache run server system. No problems. | Ya, I get that alot. It's ran out of Nevada, US of the A. I see him every summer. Ya know, he just doesn't run that server job he also does home improvment too. |

Does he do windows too!? Mine are really dirty!  Oh, and maybe a plumber? He's a cool guy if he does all that.
Maybe later this year when I plan on gettinga job, I'll go looking for webhosting.

| Same here. I would really like to be an aid for Active Web Hosting. Hopefully I can talk my uncle into it this summer. I can't wait. Yeah, he does probably everything for a house. I make around $300 a day helping him out. Does that tell you how much he makes from how good he is? Lol. |
