It seems The GIA may have shut down, or maybe it was an April Fools joke?

They did say they were shutting down April 1st. Anyway, it seems it wasn't an April Fools joke, and we will no longer see updates from this great gaming site. They were pretty damn good, other than being slow and un-reliable with pics. XD
Anyway, what's your thoughts on The GIA supposedly closing?

Both IGN and the GIA suck balls, imo.
Why?
Cos they damnz0red put their logo on public pictures, constantly! 
Now, if they'd have put their logo only on shots they made themselves, I'd be fine with it, but I've never seen a single wallpaper or artwork of a game on either of those sites without them having dumped their logo on it, the f***tarts. 
I don't care either way what happens to 'm, GameSen is my prime source of game-info anyway. ^_^ |

| The GIA seems to be closing their doors. Rather sad, but prodominatly true. A rather odd day to shutdown, as speculations run wild.. However, it has been nearly half a month and nothing has changed, no updates, no nothing. |

| It could just be a very cruel joke, although that is highly unlikely to be the case. I am most upset and shocked by this announcement, as I regard GIA to be a fantastic and informative site. |

'Tis a shame - they should just hand it over to someone else, someone with the motivation to make articles for it and the money to keep it up. Its how I found some of the earliest FFIX pictures (although they weren't anything to do with the final game, a dragon talking to a boy). They seemed like Gods. Ah well, it had to happen sometime.
