| Well, since I don't use vBulletin, Invision, or phpBB, I was wondering since last I checked none of them supported bulk control. (Or vBulletin's demo doesn't) Please tell me I'm hallucinating, because that just doesn't make sense to me. :| |

What do you mean by bulk control?
As in total change over how your forums look? You can do that with vB. |

Okay heres the run down, vBulletin is the most customizable forum system on the planet that is unless you code your own. And if you were to purchase a vBulletin licence I would be able to teach you where everything, but you would have to modify it yourself
But by bulk control, does that mean like control every aspect of the forum? If so then vBulletin does have that. But there are some things left out of the demo verions

No, bulk topic control, you know, like Ezboards do. (Set of check boxes and drop down form to close, open, and such)
Oh, and Shift, I won't say vBulletin is more customizable, my board still owns it in speed, (well, before host.sk turned latently gay slow) and is infinitely customizable. (well, as long as you know PHP and write your own damn hacks) |

It's not, the board is still in development, sorta. You have to have an in to get it. On rare chance Ace will give it out (well, 1.8a), but it's not a common thing, and it's only to people that have been around for a while.
There is a nice advantage to that though, there are only two 1.9 boards (Ace's and mine) and in total there are less then 20 ABoard's online in total. (Only 3 or 4 of which are active) Anyway, enough with the history lesson. :P
Melkor: I thought vBulletin's pruning was through use of giving it a date and it just prunes the db, not manual bulk control fashion. *points to attachment* Like that, guys. Don't remember vBB doing that before, that's why I asked. |
