ok im sure by now anyone can figure out im new at all of this but i was wondering if anyone could link me to a site that gives html codes for free or could send me a list of codes or just give me some advice on creating sites

A lot of the sites around the Internet, you have to pay for lol. Just to get a small turorial. bent, if you ask me o.o

I advise going to your nearest bookshop, and search for a beginner's HTML book. I have one, and its very good.

Then when you know the beginner's stuff, move onto an Intermediate book.

EDIT:: Or you could use a free place like http://www.geocities.com and do very little HTML stuff; there is a guide already there for you.

Experiment. That's the key to becoming good. Take a tutorial, read it and experiment. Do whatever comes to mind. Just try everything. Take other sites as examples. When i was new to web-design (~2 years ago) i used to save every interesting site i found ans then disect it. Later, i used them for inspiration. Even when there was nothing more for me to learn, i still used to save interesting sites and used them for inspiration. I've still got my 200+ site archive.

I disected FFWA once, back when I thought FFWA's design was the "bezt eva"

Do you have a program like frontpage? They're good if your trying to learn HTML.
