hey..i just wondering..I'm using a dial-up connection..and about my Ip..every time i access the net using dial-up..is my IP SAME??or Different??

yeah.. it's always the same.. it mostly depends on your ISP, so you use multiple ISPs, then your IP address changes..

errm... no. With broadband connections, your IP is usually static. Dial-Up users usually get dynamic IPs. That means an IP is assigned to them with every connection they make. If they disconnect and reconnect they will get a new IP address.

There's an option in windows related to this. I'll find it an post back.

my IP changed every second... I installed something and now it changes every second... it doesent work sometimes though... but it keeps my IP away from hackers

I dont know. But I got it from kazaa, and I was an admin at a site once... and everytime I posted, I looked at my IP, and it was different...
dunno, I just thought it was neat... now my computer has been "recoverd" and I lost it...

and we are supposed to belive you when you dont know the name of the Programe and your comp got formatted so you dont ahve it anymore.

Some dial-ups aren't dynamic. But thats a rarity.
