The World Ends With You will be released by Square Enix in America this coming April 22nd for the Nintendo DS at the price of $39.99.
It takes place in modern day Japan in the streets of Shibuya- the centre of Japans trendiest youth culture.
The player takes on the role of Neku, who wakes up in Shibuya with no idea how he got there- the added twist is that he must complete a certain mission or he will cease to exist.
Tetsuya Nomura and his team or artists are behind this project adding their distinctive style. The game also features something called Stride-Cross Battle System which allows the player to control two characters at the same time an unleash special attacks using the stylus.
