On 18th December 1987, Hironobu Sakaguchi conceived Final Fantasy as a last ditch attempt to save the company he worked for.
20 years on, with a fanbase spanning the globe, the Final Fantasy series is still one of the biggest selling franchises in the game industry.
Final Fantasy Republic has only been around for a short part of that journey, but today we (and the many fans around the world) are glad to wish Final Fantasy a very happy 20th anniversary!
We plan to stick around for the next 20 years of the Final Fantasy series, reporting the news, revealing the info, and keeping fans up to date on al the happenings in the Final Fantasy world.
We sincerely hope you'll stick around to enjoy it with us.
