News is circulating around gaming sites such as Qj.net and NeoGAF that Square Enix have trademarked the title Lord of Vermillion with the Japanese Patent Office.
As you would probably expect not much is known about what it could mean- Gaming websites speculate that it could be a new Final Fantasy XI sequel or even a follow up to the 1989 videogame known as Sword of Vermilion, which was developed by SEGA and released for the Mega Drive.
