Square Enix hasn't been especially forthcoming about there Smash Bros-esque Final Fantasy fighter, but their booth at Tokyo Game Show did reveal one new character on the game's roster. Squall Leonhart of FFVIII fame will be tossing his gunblade into the mix.

No release date has been given for the title, which is currently in development for the Sony PSP.

Of course Squall is going to be in Dissidia. He was one of FF's sexiest men.

I'm still wondering if they're going to put Tidus or Reno in. That would be freaking pwnage. They're probably going to have some bonus chatacters from other SE games aswell.

I think it would be a real different kind of experience to play as a Turk. I just hope if they add Reno in, they don't make him have the same moves as some crappy Ehrgeiz character.

The gameplay looks an awful lot like Smash Bros. If so, Dissidia shall kick much ass and all shall rejoice.
