Final Fantasy XII nominated for GDCA

The finalist list for the Game Developers Choice Awards has gone public, and while Square Enix's titles didn't walk away with the most nominations (that honor went to Okami and Oblivion), Final Fantasy XII is in the running for two categories.
In the Character Design category, XII is up against such titles as LocoRoco, Okami, Rayman Raving Rabbits, and Viva Pinata. In the Visual Arts category, its competition is Gears of War, Okami, Oblivion, and Viva Pinata.
The Game Developers Choice Awards are selected by an international nomination process in which active members of the International Game Developers Association can nominate any game from the past year. This year's GDCA takes place on March 7 at the Game Developers Conference and Expo at the Moscone Center in San Fransisco.
