News seems to be overflowing at the moment from Square Enix. Today it has been revealed that the classic PS1 game Final Fantasy Tactics will be available on the PSP sometime next year.
It wont just be a like for like port either - two new character classes, new cel-shaded FMVs, and widescreen display. More details are sure to be forthcoming as well.
Apparently this and the DS's Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings side-story are part of a series of three games labeled the Ivalice Alliance.
So thats means that there is a third game being made as well! From the scan you can make out it's being called "FFT A2" - a sequel to FFT2?
Awesome, I love Final Fantasy Tactics. I'll definitely get that for PSP. I also would like this new FFT game to keep the original's gameplay instead of some new real time battle crap that every other game has had.
FFT A2 suggests FFT Advance 2 for the GBA, wouldn't be a bad idea considering the amount of GBAs and DS's out there. The prospect of playing the original FFT is appealing but not enough to buy a PSP again.
