According to German gaming site, Gamefront, Square Enix Japan has announced that July 18, 2006 will mark the beginning of the "Square Enix Members Points" system. Buyers of Square Enix products will receive points, which they can exchange for games and music. Thing I'd like to know is, how many points do you get per purchase, and how many do you need in order to get any?

I mean, oftentimes you need giant amounts of points, and then you even have to pay extra. Take one event from a national supermarket. With every 10 euros of groceries, you get a stamp, and with a full card, you get five euros discount.

You need 25 stamps, so if you spend 250 euros in the store, you get a whole 5 euros discount!11 zomg!!1

Same with stuff where you hand in a load of stamps and get a product. Oftentimes, you still have to pay for the product - oftentimes the production costs, at the very least.

I'm afraid the same will happen with this one, to be honest. Load of ****ery to get people to buy more of their stuffs.
