Two scans from the latest issue of Famitsu showing artwork from the mobile game Final Fantasy Agito XIII have made their way onto the web. The scans show 12 new characters, drawn in a very Before Crisis style, with mini descriptions.
The characters all seem to be wearing variations on the same uniform, which looks suspiciously like school or military cadet uniforms. Also shown is some concept art of the environments in the game.
Looks interesting, as said, it is very Before-Crisis style, but I like the artwork. I really wish this would make it's way to the US, I'd at least like to TRY one of these Final Fantasy mobile games.

Well... Before Crisis is supposed to be coming over here at some point. But you're still going to need a hella-expensive phone to play the damn thing.
I'm very interested to know a bit more about Agito, though. If I have some spare time this week, maybe I'll work on the mini-bios in that second scan and see what they have to say. Of course, if someone else who actually speaks Japanese wants to take a stab at it...
Proof that Nomura is lacking creativity as an artist. Sure the clothes and weapons are cool, but the hairstyles are all just recycles of previous hairstyles he's drawn. Every single one of those people seem like they'd fit right in with Organiasation XIII or the Turks in Before Crisis.
@scans: The artwork on the first page looks neat++. The stuff on the second place... looks like a combination of cool and gay.
It does seem that each of those characters play a role in the game, I'm personally guessing that it's going to be a multi-part game, much like BC is, with monthly episodes etc. Each episode, at least in the first... *counts* 12 episode will introduce / focus on one of the characters. I think, anyways.
That dude in the middle though holds a set of cards. Somehow that made me believe that a big part of the game is going to involve a card game like the one in FFVIII and / or IX. Card-based battle system perhaps?
Anyways, from these scans, it doesn't seem like the games are going to be related much, at least not in the way the compilation of FFVII is. Or I'm just guessing and it's going to be just like it. Still too early to say, really.
