High Quality Crisis Core Scans Availible!
These high quality scans of the upcoming Crisis Core, coming to the PlayStation Portable, and set to hit Japanese stores in late 2006. The scans were featured in the latest issue of a Japanese PlayStation magazine. Inside were several scans of the game.
Credit to ACF member Suzaku for the high quality scans, and 'FF7 AC Reunion' for the Zack image.

The graphics for this game are superb considering it's for a portable!
I'm loving Tseng's apparent important involvement, and the locations are looking nice too. |

| I am a bit disappointed on how hard Square is milking the FFVII Franchise but these images make me forget that for just a second. |

Don't be disappointed. They can milk it all they want, it won't change the fact that FFVII is still a brilliant game.
I, for one, approve of the milking. |

I indeed believe it's a good idea. They're making plenty on the Advent Children, and no doubt they'll make plenty on Crises Core too. But as stated, it won't change the fact FFVII is indeed FFVII, and is a fantastic game to play.
In addition, I also agree the graphics are fantastic for the PSP. Although, for a Final Fantasy game, you can't expect less, eh? |

It's not predominately Square that's milking FFVII for what it's worth, it's more Enix than the Square side of it since. Since the merger it's been all about sequals, prequals and remakes and not about the new games.
I like the look of this game even though it's very Kingdom Hearts-esque. |

| This games graphics look rather good. I'm not to fond of what they're doing to FFVII but if its a good game with good graphics why argue ? |

I'm a bit undecided about the whole compilation thing too - it irritates me how they change details of the plot and things don't match up (Last Order, anyone?)
On the other hand, the graphics look slick and I think Zack would be a good main character. When the price of the PSP drops I'll more than likely pick one up. =] |

I don't really see how Enix is responsible for all the sequels. Seeing as FFX-2 was in planning way before the merger. I think Square just found out that the could make lots of money by making sequels to popular games, and so they did it.
I never really got bit by FFVII-mania the way a lot of people did, but I have to say I quite like the look of this game. Always thought the backstory of FFVII was actually more intriguing than the actual in-game events. |
