This has become a topic of let's just say "debate" around me and my friends.

For those that don't know Otherkin are people that like to believe that they are vampires/elves/pixies/nymphs and amongst other things Guardian Angels. (There is probably more to it but i can't read their forums)

To me if a 7-14 year old wanted to get involved for a while then fine but the scary thing is that you can get adults believing this. Do you think they should be viewed a mentally unstable? I mean if they think they are a vampire and theyre on a date...its night time....you should see where i'm going.

Any views? Random topic but amusing none the less.

Search otherkin on google or just go to otherkin.com (it's a forum place)

Yes. Simple as that.

I know/knew (i don't see him anymore) a guy who thinks he's a vampire. It was funny when he was 14 but by 18 we were more than tired of it. Worst thing was when he was dating a girl he told her all of this. Needless to say that relationship didn't go on for long after that. What's even worse is that he didn't learn his lesson and told it to another girl he dated for the best part of a week...

I know quite a few people who believe this...Thing is, I can understand some teenagers doing it, like you said 13 or 14, it can just seem like a fad.

But people really do seem to believe it, also it's not that they think they're a vampire (or whatever) at the moment, but that they were these things in a PAST LIFE. Some people do believe that they have the soul of another being inside them. It's just what they believe...I don't think they would act on it though...

Warlock: Are you talking about who I think you're talking about?

I might be mistaken but I thought Witch hunting ended in the middle ages. But yet you seem intent to bigot without thinking. Have they harmed you in any way? No. Just leave it, like how you leave religion.

And leez, yes. He's talking about cat-eyes.
