this idea does not belong to me, it belongs to springtimefox from an all rp fourms, I've been given a 'yes' to steal this rp from the orginal forums to this place, here the the url to the real thread, Battle of Yetis Moor OOC (large scale lit battle) : Out of Character (Discussion & Information) the discription here for classes will be a bit different, as I'll add a few more things. For this purpose they will be encased in green.
There's a lot to read, but that means there's a lot to use as well as a lot of thought placed into this seemingly random idea. Read it and decide if you'd like to be part of it.
Note of Warning: We are in medieval times... We are not in an anime. I'm sure everyone has heard of D&D somewhat, and thats what we're going for here. If you haven't heard of D&D think a more dramatic Lord of the Rings. Not everyone is a loner with superpowers. Just had to add that to clear stuff up. Also, no chatspeak.
We need more dragons and other flying creatures to take the battle to the skies. Also, we need more people period
Battle of Yetis Moor
A Literate Battle

Battle of Yetus Moor (Large scale lit battle)
Yetis Moor is a large, arid wasteland with a large castle in the center. On the northern side of the wasteland is a forest at the foot of the Lanv Mountains, the only way through being Lanv Pass. To the south, the dried grass and cracked earth give way to the sandy deserts. In the east, the Otorin Sea expands far into the distance. To the west is the city of Blode, the human city-capital, currently kept out of the war between evils.
The skies above Yetis Moor are perpetually grey, knowing nothing of the warm sun. Yetis Castle is dark as obsidian, rising from the barren land like a ghost ship out of the sea. From this castle, the troops of the Shadow Knights make their stand against the powers of the Demon Riders.
The Demon Riders, so named because of their hideously mutated mounts, attack from the north and east, attempting to gain control of the Shadow Knights. It’s a battle of evil versus evil. The ultimate evil will triumph and go on to destroy the good armies of the world...

Some Information-

The Shadow Knights used to be the ones in power, but the Demon Riders broke off from them and formed their own alliance. Now the Demon Riders want to claim Yetis Moor for themselves and be the rulers of the free world, starting this revolt-turned-war.
Demon Riders have mounts that have been changed through black magics. The mounts (horses and lesser dragons) have been experimented on to make them bigger, stronger, etc. They are NOT demons and there are NO demons within this roleplay.
The leader of the Shadow Knights is behind the scenes playing ‘god’ to his armies. No one is sure where he is exactly, but his advisor gives orders to the army directly from him when needed.
There are elves, gnomes, dwarves, werewolves, dragons, humans, orcs, ogres, minotaur, and all manner of beast in this roleplay. Certain things (like nekos and other ‘furries’) will not be allowed.
Ranks/Positions-
These are in both armies unless otherwise stated! If you make your own class, that’s fine, but we will have to approve it. These dont have to be mentioned in your profile, they're just a general outline.
Knight - an on foot swordsperson or other weapons-person.
Mage - Two types, two classes. Black mage/Red mage
Dragonrider - a person riding a dragon into combat
Dragon - just a dragon fighting alongside humans
and advanced in some way, usually larger and stronger.
Shinobi - AKA Ninja. Stealthy, can get into places after defenses have been weakened, good assassins, etc.
Kunoichi - AKA the female ninja... same as above...
The following classes is only among the demon rider's ranks:
Mage warriors - an average swords master with the power to cast basic magic spells like lighting bolts and fireball, they have weak endurance
Demon Rider - the human is normal, the mount is disfigured
Necromancer - due to the demon rider's infection they have found way to manipulate the dead, very weak in close combat, but is never always alone.
The following classes is only among the shadow knight's ranks:
~None~ (throw me a pm if you got an idea, clear description, their strong points and weak points, please not too long, a wall of huge text immediately get a closed from me, if you give lack of information I might bombard you with questions about the class)
I’m a little behind in things, but this is what I can think of for now. Feel very free to add more.
Rules-
Its important that you read the rules. DON’T FORGET THEM!
1: Be literate. Try to type fifty words or more a post. I understand if you cant, but try. Your character does more than “Dodges and throws a kunai” at his target.
2: Violence, foul language, and death are allowed but DONT go too far! Death of your character is ok, and you can make a new one afterwards. If you find a way and time to put some romance in, points for you.
2a: You may make ‘disposables’, which are characters that just pop into the story to be killed. They don’t need profiles, but don’t have them rush in with just a name and a sword. They have to have a sort of story. The text about them also needs to be in RED for the Demon Riders and in BLUE for the Shadow Knights, so people know they’re a disposable and they can engage in battle and win against the character.
3: Run with the ‘plot’ as you will, but make sure you follow the rules and if I tell you 'no' I dont want to say it twice. Fight who you want when you want.
3a: Be practical, even a dashboard ninja of doom couldn’t get through all the defenses of the Yetis Castle to kill the head of the Shadow Knights (who happens to be.. Not human anyway)
4: Post your profiles here, in this form, in RED. If they are not in red and you don’t correct it within thirty minutes of your post, you cant be accepted. Wait for a confirmation from one of the ‘mods’ of this RP to post in the main thread. (Mods listed below)
5: You are allowed four characters and unlimited control of the grunts you fight.
6: Please use the OOC chat for all things OOC. Post if you are leaving for any ammount of time, post ideas, and ask about posts if you are confused. Its better to ask whats going on than to post something not related to the other posts. If you have questions about joining, also post it here.
7:Rules are subject to change as I find things annoying or offensive.
7a: If you have a dragon for a mount, please use dragon types from D&D. Picky, yes, but that way everyone can look up what they look like.
8<IMPORTANT>: You are not allowed to state whether if your hitting your fellow rper's character, in others words, you the one who is throwing out slashes or projectiles is not allowed to say whether you hit him or not, that is for him to decide. Same goes for the disposables that they make, other then that, none rper characters may be slice, tossed kicked or chopped into tiny pieces and feed to the dragons may be done.

I would like to add this, every character have weakness, but they do not show it, but you the creator of these characters, u must make them have these weaknesses AND remember it, when you post, you have to give small hints somewhere along your lines(not all your posts), that it's that character’s weakness, not too obvious, so that others will have a good time trying to find them.
Please make sure you read the rules! I’m pretty sure we’ll all know if you didn’t.

these two are my profile of my own charaters, the two very same ones, as in the orginal thread. and also an explame of how a profile look like.
Name- Deruku guarudeinu (otherwise deruku in short)
Age- 20
Height- 6'1
Their Side- Demon Riders
History- Deruku being a half dragon and half human, he who doesn’t know who his real parent are or where and if they are still alive, being a halfing he was an outcasted and reject by both humans and dragons in the lands of yeti moor, however he heard of an rebel group called the demon riders from the rumors of the taverns that he visited, the word 'demon riders' kept popping out, that was when he decided to leave yeti moor, the land which he hated so much, and join the demon riders for new hopes of being expected into this group of people, however during his search for this group he met a human mage, named Nigufutsu sutaru, she too is finding the demon riders for her own purpose, through long journeys those two have been together all this while, Deruku have kept his dragon part unknown to her, as he finds himself attracted to her without his own knowing, he would risk his own life to protect her.

2 slim, blue bladed swords, which have been imbue by the power of the ice, at a chance of striking, the one who made contact with the blade will get it's body part temporarily frozen in ice, only fire spells can thaw the ice.

claws, tail, bites... ect ect u know the normal stuff that dragons fights
Abilities- acid breath(only in dragon form), it will melt almost anything that it comes in contact with, expect for magically imbue weapons and armors and a few more stuff or a magic barrier that is strong enough to block it, after using this acid breath his throat will burn with such intensity that he cannot use it again anytime soon, until the burning is totally gone, and during that time he would lose his voice.
Extra- Being a dragon that he is, when he is in his dragon form, some people will try to mount him thinking that his is tamed, which later they will roughly tossed off his back, he will only allow Nigu to ride him, or her friends, but she will have to tell him in advance.

History- nigu's mother have died few years ago due to an unknown illness, she have always only lived with her mother, her mother left a little dying wish for her, and that is to find her father, and she mentioned that her father was in a part of a rebel group called the demon riders.
While searching high and low for this unknown group that she have never heard before, she met Deruku, all injured and torn up like he just had a fight with a group of mountain bandits, she knelt beside Deruku and pulled out several bandages and bandaged him up, with silence not a word spoken, she may be an emotionless mage, but she does have a soft spot for injured people who are not trying to hurt her. she often saves travelers by bandaging their wounds if she sees that one is injured and unable to move.
When she was about to leave Deruku graded her leg and asked where she is going, she replied "to find the demon riders" "me too, what about we go together, it's better then going off alone" said Deruku as he sat up "fine with me" she replied with an emotionless voice again, apparently after a few years the grief of her mother's death have yet to subside from her thoughts, but during her travels with Deruku, she finds herself getting more talkive around him, and she often questions herself, who or what kind of man her father will be, and how would she know if she were to meet him?

Weapons- a magical metal stick(lol) that will slightly enhance the magic properties of the wieldier

Abilities- your everyday average mage spells, but she do have a few signature moves which she created herself.
freezing fields, instantly freezes all enemies around her within 6 yards, can be stopped with fire magic or a barrier, or a being with spell immunity
Call of the fire, summons up 3 fire elemental to aid her in battle, (they are just a mass of flames and earth) can be destroyed
Dark Illusion(escaping spell), instantly creates an Illusion around her while she makes her escape, this illusion will show your deepest fears if you stare long enough into it
Extra-sometimes she rides on deruku after she find out that his a dragon

(lols this is TOTALLY a recreation of my Naruto fan character. I figured kunoichi... eh, why not.)
Name- Haruka Kobayashi
Age- 21
Race/Rank- Kunoichi
Their Side- Shadow Nights
History- Haruka was the daughter of her clan's leader, and along with her twin brother Hikaru, was considered royalty among her extended family and the citizens of her village. Dragon Riders killed her family in cold blood in the middle of the night one night, and only through her skills as a kunoichi did she make it out. This apparently made the Dragon Riders slightly angry, as now they are stalking her trying to finish the job.
Appearance- VERY long silver hair, down to the backs of her knees. Wavy and slightly flipped at the end. Keeps it in a braid when fighting. As for clothes, she wears a short light pink dress with sleeves that cover her hands and trail down to just below her knees. She wears a black shirt under this, black leggings, and black boots. Around her neck is her mother's locket, the only thing recovered from the murder. It is a silver chain with a silver heart engraved with roses and has a picture of Haruka, her mother, her father and her brother Hikaru. As for armor, she wears fighting gloves, a plain black forehead protector (not a Naruto kind, lawl)... and thats about it. During more large scale battles (meaning ones she knows about ahead of time,so she can plan) she changes her appearance into something more fitting. Black wrap-around shirt bound at the wrists. Black pants, sort of tight, bound and a little loose at the ankles. Black, non-descript shoes. She wears her hair up in a high ponytail, or even a bun. Her armor gets better. Chainmail underneath her clothing, and arm and leg guards are added.
Weapons- The ninja basics. Kunai, shuriken, and a various assortment of smoke bombs and other diversions. Nothing to powerful weapons wise.
Abilities- (this is the iffy part, but one of the coolest things I've made up for a character. I hope it's alright to use jutsu type stuff. If not, I'll change it)
kekkei genkai: Rainbow Vein Jutsu (Niji Joumyaku no Jutsu)(doujutsu: Nijigan; rainbow eye)
drains all color from a six foot radius around her and uses them as small blades. Causes her eyes to change colors, striating colors of the rainbow, and is called "Rainbow Vein" because the color travels through her veins and makes them multicolored, visible through the skin.
Synesthesia Jutsu (kenzan kara-yaiba no jutsu)(seeing color-blade jutsu)
Taught to her by her grandmother, Saiyumi. They were both synesthetic. Saiyumi taught her how to use the colors she and no one else saw by altering their kekkei genkai into the Synesthesia Jutsu. It is highly effective, as Haruka is the only one who can see the colors she controls. Haruka is the only user of this jutsu now that her grandmother is no longer alive. Unfortunately, due to the fact it is altered from the kekkei genkai, this jutsu uses a lot of chakra and leaves Haruka very tired and weak. She uses this jutsu to control and materialize color around her, making it into threads, whips, razors, anything like that. She can only control primary colors at the moment, and the darker the shade, the harder the material is. She can never control black or white.
Extra- Haruka is synesthetic. Meaning that when she hears sounds, the visual cortex of her brain is activated and she sees colors. It's a perceptual disorder but not deadly and it does not interfere with her fighting, other than give her special attacks she created with the help of her grandmother. Also, she is very acrobatic in battle, using a lot of back flips, hand springs, cartwheels, and such other things. It is used to her advantage offense wise, but leaves her defense quite low. |

| Yes your profile is accepted, but as for your ninja throwing things, they have 'limited' stocks, I hope you know what I mean, if you use too much of them, they will eventually run out, if you don't restock or retrieve them somehow. |

| we would need at lest 2 more on this one on each side... it will become kind of boring if there's 4 or less people rping in the same rp. Interactions are one of the most important keys in an rp. Expectably if your going up agaist each other, receiving hits and throwing them at your opponents, or damaged caused by your own allies by accident, those are the ‘rules’ of wars lol |
