OK a while ago I put up a post that had something to do with intrest in a new rp... Plainly, no one answered, but lets try this a different way shall we?
I need 5 players for what I have in mind, first come first serve to the abilities that I'm going to list up here but other than that, you can go nuts with your characters as far as I care.
Biomancer: Who ever plays this character will have an enhancement allowing them to control micro organisms, including the auto immune systems of themselves and others. This can take manifest in any number of ways, they can create bio-weapons hosted in thier own blood that is specific to a certain target, they can instantly regenerate tissue, make instant transplants, temporarilly re-animate dead bodies, whatever. Basically, they have a high degree of control over biological life.
Technomancer: In the same way that the Biomancer has control over life, the Technomancer has control over technollogy. Simple physical contact with a machine will give them working knowledge of the mechanics and control over it's circuitry. They only have direct control over electronic systems, but seeing as this describes about 99.99% of all machines (Even an internal combustion engine has spark plugs and a battery) it is a very powerful ability. They can do nasty things like cause a computer controlled weapon to backfire, hack electronic locks and computer systems, anything to that effect.
Electromancer: Electromancers have control over electronic fields. They can supercharge thier bodies with excess electrons and discharge them as a powerful lightning arc, they can redirect power flow through powerlines from a long way away, emit electromagnetic pulses which will knock out unshielded electronics in a large radius, anything to that effect.
Psychomancer: This is the most devious of disciplines, it is the control of minds and thoughts. Like Jedi mind Tricks only way more powerful, and even a strong mind is vulnerable. In actuallity, the stronger the mind, the easier it is to control. The more skilled the Psychomancer, the more control they can exert over a mind, making a person see something that is not there, not see something that is there, or even gain total control of thier body while the mind is fooled by a seperate fantasy.
Chronomancer: The Chronomancer has control of gravity and time. They can open small space/time rifts allowing them to pass almost instantly from one place to another, they can speed up or slow down small pockets of time, allowing them to move much faster or cause an enemy to almost freeze, they can create huge gravity wells to crush heavy things under thier own weight. It is the most difficult and unpredictable discipline and has a slight error ratio of about 10%. (This will be controlled by me, so whenever a Chronomancer uses thier chronomancy, I'll decide if it works or not.) Chronomancers are also minorly omnipotent and they can see the future unfolding before them before they get there. While they have limited control of time speed, they can only travel forward in time and only see backwards in time, however, because thier implant never dies, it sends them images from a future where they have already lived much longer.

| First you'll have to explain what the overall story of the RP is. The idea for each character is interesting but I'd like to know what direction the story would go with these five characters. |

Rightoh:
The story will take place on Earth at an undefined point in the future. Could be thousands of years, could be tens of thousands, but it's a long time from now.
There has been a ground breaking discovery made at the center of the earth, it is a substance called Remorium which absorbs many kinds of radiation and creates energy as a by-product. This has driven many discoveries including the ability to move ships through hyperspace, thus allowing Humanity to move beyond to solar system.
During this time, Humanity is in a tentative Peace. Three major governments exsist within the boundaries of explored space, The Earth Defense Force, the Martian Confederacy of Planets and the Union of the Trisystem. All three governments are currently trying to deal with interstellar Piracy and are engaged in an agressive Starship building arms race, both with the non governmental piratical forces and with neighbouring governments.
The story will take place on earth, where just after the re-emergence of Humanity from underground bunkers where they had taken shelter from a cataclysmic nuclear catastrophy, two systems were created in order to protect humanity from itself. Those systems were Called Hunter and Shogun.
The players will be a part of the Hunter system, and they will gain thier abilities by joining symbiotically with a small piece of Remorium called a Metabolic Aid Symbiont. Further story will develop as the RP plays out. |

Hmm, interesting.
I'll take part if you can find the other three players (assuming you're taking one for yourself). As for my choice, Psychomancer. Sounds like a potential lot of fun. |

Kick ass. We got two RPers so far. The RP will be called Leviathan Progect Origin and I'll post up something about it soon.
Myself, I will actually be playing a character called Hunter Zero who is the first Hunter to exsist. While he is a bit of a godly character, he will not be taking part in many fights, but act as a guiding force. This will mostly allow me to sort of GM a little bit, and it's entirely possible that I will be giving players PMs about things that are happening only to them which they can choose wether or not to tell others. |
