FFR Revolution
- Lately things have been a little shaky around here. During my unfortunate absence, thing seem to have gotten worse. There have been many complaints and uncertainties within FFR in the past weeks.
I have come in the Name of Change today. I propose differences and adjustments across the board! I, together with any of my Fellow staff who are with me, will change how we deal with these problems and instead of pure speculation on fixing these problems, Action will finally be taken to fix them.
Here we need Morale and Trust. Not only for the Memebers, but within the Staff aswell. I realized, after arguing and being concerned about FFR in these past days of my return, that I myself was only part of the problem. I choose to stop contributing to the problem and instead do my part as a staff member and take action.
Instead of calling it "Damage" when people raise their voices in opinion, I will instead listen to their problems and try and do something about it, instead of banning them or warning them for arguing. Some people do indeed choose the wrong path when displaying their concerns, but many Valid arguments go overlooked.
The Staff get flusterd over not being appreciated for their work. Well I ask you this, if your not doing anything to help and support the members, why do you deserve appreciation? Yes all the staff have done and most of them still do their part for FFR and it's members, but we have all been lacking in our responsablility to maintain the Greatness of FFR, IMO.
I will from now on, use my position as a Figurehead to present the Member's Point Of View and do the work on changing things for the better, as much as possible. Banning people and restricting New Members registration is only a temporary and volitile Cure. But if we fix the things people are arguing about, then that is a final resolution to our problem as a whole.
People argue in aggressive ways, because no one will listen unless you make a scene about your opinion. They do not have faith in the staff, so they have to force their displeasure on us, this in turn, creates problems in our current enviroment. I only ask that from now on, we listen to them. Try and aid them in their argument.
If indeed their problem is valid and not just smokey aggresion, I say we fix their problem to the best of our abilities. Once the member's faith in us is restored, our own Morale will increase with the Members growth in Morale aswell. If we fix what has gone wrong, then there will be less to argue about. If we restore the Members faith in us, we will create a better enviroment for change and suggestions. When problems arise and there are people rallying for change, if they know that people will listen and they'll make a difference, without having to be aggressive with their opinion, then we will have a great decrease in these "Heated debates".
Let's look at the Big Problem here and fix things once and for all, for the better of everyone.
If we follow through on this Quest for a Revolution, I believe it will make a Great Difference in not only Staff and Member's Morale and Trust alike, but also produce a Greater image of what FFR is and will always hope to be.
I also personally Hope my ideals will be met with support from my fellow staff. Even if it does not, as long as I still hold my Position in the staff, I will push for this until it is done.
Thank you and Good Luck in the Future of The Republic,
FFGnome / Josuke |

| Glad you're willing to do something about the whole 'FFR mess thing'. It really is getting out of hand though, alot of great members have left FFR due to a few wrongful decisions by the staff. Although I think FFR is getting better 'feature wise' day by day, the community is dying because 'members' (who make up the so called 'community') are going away. I just hope the others will try their best too. |

| I agree with you on most of that, Josuke. And the staff doesn't really deserve much appriciation right now, in my opinion. |

. How can you say that :nono:, don't put all this blame on staff, most of it is due to ungreatful members who feel the need to be picky and complain about the little errors made by staff at FFRepublic. 'Forgive And Forget' and get back in the good books of the members, it'll all be sorted out soon enough . |

Well, you can't blame everything on the members either, Kaze! Just because a select few keep complaining doesn't mean the rest don't do anything to preserve the Greatness of FFR!
The only thing we can do is calm down these members a little bit. I'm sure they can be good members if you could listen to their problems for a few minutes.
Jon, thank you much for willing to listen to our problems. In the name of every member of FFR, I thank you very much!

The staff have been evil We've been under a ton of pressure and the growing masses of FFR probably added to that. We apologise but it's not just the staff that's the problem. Everyone had their fair share in making FFR what it is, arguements or no arguements. We should listen to each other more but in some cases that just wont work, Jon. Not everything can be solved by words, even though I too would like to believe it could be. Sometimes, actions have to be taken and sometimes they are the wrong ones. This whole thing has been an experience for all and everyone has learnt something from it. It's not like it hasn't happened before either.
I suggest, we put this all behind us and stop trying to fix something that isn't broken. |

You'd have to remove me from the staff before I stopped chasing this goal. It's all I have left to give to FFR, I'll have more to give if it succeeds, but it'll take all I have right now, to pursue this. I'll need all the help I can get.
I'm not just preaching this either, I'm taking action already. The only one who can stop me, is Eric or Rei. If it comes to that, then I'm too late. I assure you none of my working will be malicious though. Frankly, I don't care if you think it's a problem still or not. It clearly is to many people.
I'm not in a position to give leway or leverage anymore, that was before I was gone. |

I'm not stopping you Jon. I just think nothing needs fixed. Eric told me that time heals all things, and perhaps this is one of those times.
Go ahead. Do as you feel. Just keep believing in your goals and never doubt anyone will support you. (Yes, including me ) |

*Yawn*
I can't even remember how many times i've read this over and over by different staff. This is getting pathetic. I mean, its just a forum... Its not like your making any life changing decisions. To me this is a sign of FFR's weak administration. I have never seen any other forums' staff have to constantly apologize for their wrongdoings to the rest of the members.
I really don't see why we have to be constantly policing ourselves. I think that we are taking things way too seriously. Honestly this is just getting rediculous, this kind of talk h | | | |
