Afterlab is taking a little break from working on FFR. After working on the battle system, FFR 3.0 and everything else, it's becoming overwhelming for afterlab to continue to work under such circumstances. I quote from the horses mouth here:
"I have been a huge slacker around my very own site recently, and i'm deeply sorry. Although, I cannot promise anything, like I normally do.. I can only hope that I get involved into this organization once again. I see many members have left FFR and found other forums. It seems for me, a great depression for the site and forums.
I've since been running around with my friends. It seems to actually have a social life, I must abandon this site. However, I will still maintain it. Hopefully I can find a motivation soon.
Final Fantasy Republic won't close down now, so don't worry. I don't let something get to me and kill something i've been working on for a year now. Just need some motivation and inspiration.
I'll return."

I know how Eric feels. All the stress of life builds up, and you feel like cutting your daily routine down a bit in order to fit the important things in place. We can obviously see that he has a lot on his mind, and a good break is exactly what 'lab needs.
And yes, BD, the Mods do indeed have this place in order. |
