Okay, I was speaking to Nick over AIM about why he did what he did, and he asked me to post the following announcement to the FFR community to tie up any loose ends. These are his exact unaltered words:
Members and Staff of Final Fantasy Republic. I have some information to provide for you. Element has graciously posted this for me, thank you. What happened on sunday was very true. Although something I accidentally took responsibility for which were not caused by me. The reason I have been removed was because I one night, decided to open up config.php in the root directory. I then proceeded to give the password out to Point-Blank. Although I did not make Axion or Red Mumba administrators, or unban members which were previously exiled from FFR. Also, I believe I was accused of editing templates? That was Eric's own fault, he deleted them accidentally himself. I had no part of that. I did not cause direct damage to FFR, it was the indirect which I have been removed for. Now, what was his motive? You cannot really call it a motive, but a sub-consious desire to move on. The night which I was removed permanently I realized I had a dream. About 3 years ago I was a webmaster, I am starting back at my roots. While I pose no threat to FFR since I am no where near the ability of being a hacker. I have provided you all with the last bits of information regarding this matter. Unless there is another twisted turn of events, I have no real reason to stay here when I am busy with my own site. FFR has provided a basis for rediscovering myself, even if it was by accident. You have all you need to know, it does not matter to me if you believe any of this. But it did happen, and there is nothing left to hide. You have no reason to fear me, I am the same as I was before. I suppose you could call that sunday night a case of temporary insanity, maybe a little too much soda. |

| To be honest, it's just a cry for attention. I was talking with Nick, and I didn't mean for him to take what I said literally. Redmumba and I did not delete any templates, nor did Nick, so I hypothesized that it was a mistake made by Afterlob, and during the comotion he noticed and misenterpreted what happened, but by no means is that confirmed. |

Well, I believe he's changed, which is why I decided to post this. About the templates, who knows who did it, and to be honest, lets get over it! afterlab is almost done fixing it, so lets get this back in our past. I wanted to let nick tie up his loose ends, and I hope that he really has changed. I'm considering switching to his hosting when he gets it up, because he still is a friend of mine, regardless of what he did, I mean we all have our freak points, and I guess this is one of them. I've been very pissed off many times too, but I can't do any of this stuff so really there's nothing that I can do about hacking, but I'm willing to screw with people's lives when I'm pissed.
So honestly, talking to nick today I believe he has changed... |
