Upgraded to vBulletin 3.0.1 to iron out some coding errors. Ironically its caused errors in some of my own coding. I will piece these back together while the forums are running. The forums will not need to go down while this happens.

If you spot any obvious errors than post it here.

Good to hear this upgrade has been done and dusted, Mazen.
It's also good to know Final Fantasy Republic will not be comming to a close for awhile while anything is updated, so keep it up Mazen.

Everything seems to be running smoothly so far. I haven't noticed the random subscriptions popping up yet, so I'm guessing that's fixed.

Well, can't really tell what has been changed and even fixed, but I guess that must mean the upgrade went very smoothly.

Guess I should say what some of the updates were:
  • Flag Bug Fix - when you select a country from the list in the "Edit Profile" area of your USER CP, the appropriate country flag will be placed in the navbar and all your posts
  • Registration Bug Fix - there seemed to be problems with people registering on the forums. I think that with the vbulletin upgrade this was fixed
  • Security holes fixed - seems there were a couple of security bugs. What these were obviously went unannounced but apparently are fixed now.
It was mainly vBulletin bugs that were fixed above anything of my own creation. Thats why it went so smoothly I guess.

I'm still getting random thread subscriptions, so I guess that bug isn't fixed. How irritating.

The flag bug is fixed though. I didn't even know they'd made that feature in vB3. Neat.

They didn't make the flag feature, I did. As for the subscriptions thing, I don't know. Maybe try and clear all the ones set and just reset them or something.
