For those of you who have been watching the recent developments in the Promotions thread, you may have noticed that there are a lot of people who feel that the staff is, in all honestly, **** right now.
We're left in somewhat of a bind at the moment because we only have, what, five staffers? And two of the newest moderators, myself and Sephiroth9999, are being under some harsh scrutiny by the members. This is fine by me. I mean, if the community feels that a certain area needs to be worked on, the best way to get it done is to start talking about it. Well, you did. And with all the frustration over the new promotions, a little more was said, concerning the site overall.
Anyways, I'm completely confused, because I was under the assumption that Final Fantasy Republic has started with an entirely clean slate, clean staff and seems to have calmed down a bit. But apparently, that's not the case. So, instead of getting extremely defensive about being assaulted by the members for change, why not actually hear it out and change things?
So, if you could very very very politely list some of the members thoughts or questions, go right on ahead. I'd really like to encourage my staffer buddies not to post in this thread until we've all met on each individual issue and write up a solitary response. After we come up with a response, I want to hear from the community whether or not what we've proposed to do is a good idea. If not, I'll write a little Resolved next to the issue and we can move on. Sound good?

| I don't think there are actually any resolveable problems, we all just feel like being bastards. I already convinced Mazen to get rid of all the rules I objected to. *cough*No AIM logs ._. I actually haven't been fighting the staff, I'm just my usual bastard self. As long as Mazen stays out of things, they should be fine. I might even come back and staff you biatches if I feel the need. xD |

it just seems that no one can be quite satisfied, or they're just causing trouble, as panda said. not much you can do about either one without causing another problem, so it's best not to worry about it very much, but don't let it get out of hand.
any complaints about a staffer being new shouldn't even be noticed though, since that's just plain foolish. i've been around boards longer than most of you have even been online, and it shouldn't matter one way or another. |

I have no issues with the current staffers, Nor the staff on a whole, Hell I'm trying to become a staffer so I can tell the ****wiit members who think they are God and the staff are there to bend to their every will to piss off when no one else will tell them to piss off. |

mmmkay, so you're saying turn it into PBP Forums (PlayBoy Playground) eh. that'd take a bit TOO much work if you ask me  point is, no matter how much people want it to happen, it's not going to for a while, and even so, it may be just like...one thread or a sub forum or something. my suggestion is, instead of making a kiddy reason as to why we should have one, such as "p0rn ownz j00 a11 <3" write us an actual reason why. send it to all the staff. if you really want it, work at it.
in short, if you want an entire porn forum, you aren't going to find it here. |
