The backup of ffrepublic that I had on my computer was from 2 weeks before the downtime. I could not of foreseen the downtime, so the fact that I had the backup was a blessing. You may as well carry on from where you left off. Hopefully I won't have too much of an impact. 2 weeks lost is much better than 6 months and hopefully it won't happen again.  |

A heck of lot needs to be done to turn this place around into the best FF fansite on the internet and I doubt it will happen anytime soon, this place has too much of a reputation (if you want to call it that) for it to happen anytime soon.

We're not really mini-anything, if you think about it. People only say that because we have certain element of their design, but then, so does every FF website out there. I very much doubt FFO made every single piece of their design without basing it from something else; so it doesn't matter either way. xP
But yes, we need to do something about our reputation, even though I'm not sure what that is. I don't keep up with the tiiiimes. xD |

| Our current rep is that we are extremely unstable. Up one week down the next. To defy this rep would be easy. Have one Owner for more than 3 weeks. And return Eric as a leading member of FFR. Eric is FFR to me. |

Reputation is nothing. Other FF fan sites always think badly of other FF sites. FFR has been very successful and some people dont like that, so they bad talk it.
I've got people from other forums to join FFR before and they've thought it was a great forum and quite a few of them have stayed.
Dont worry about what other forums think, as long as members keep joining and the few members who come along from other forums actually like FFR, then we have nothing to worry about.
All that needs to be done now is the continuation of the anniversary edition and to keep FFR's downtime to a minimum.
Saizuchi: I feel the same way as you in a way, to me FFR hasnt been the same since Eric left, and to be honest it never will be. So far im not sure if thats good or bad. So far it has been bad, we have had loads of downtime and many arguements about all sorts of things, although good things could come out of all this in the end.
I would like Eric to return in some ways, but in others im not sure.
