If I had my way this would be in the Midgar Library, and if it doesn't belong there, CDS, and if there is no suitable place, create a new forum, meant for asking the members what they think on possible changes.

I will place you under the list soon Nic. I haven't been able to respond to this thread as I've been busy at home. Even now, I don't have time enough to form the post I'd like to make.
But I can say this. Naraku, although the intent of this announcement and state of change was not a personal attack on anyone: I, personally, am disgusted by your behavior. You've done nothing but scoff at valid points and remark about the idiocy of all those who have tried to create change in the staff. You seem to enjoy a rule of an iron fist and feel that any opposition is childish and a topic of humor. Laughing and insulting is behavior expected of a fool, not a site administrator. Preceding this incident, I felt that there were a few problems with your role as an administrator. Following this, I do not feel you deserve the position at all. You are correct in assuming that I, not that everyone, feel that Liam is ten times more capable of the job.
Your actions in this thread have not addressed the issues, have been in self-defense of non-existant attacks, have been biased and have been on the intellectual level of a 12 year old. You're upset that this petition poses any notions of change in how things are run and your response is to ignore the issues and attack the messengers. It's disgusting.
But it will not waver my resolve for a moment, as the only terms I have accepted to are that if this thread is closed without a solution, I will resign, with the support of all petitioners. I feel that if these problems are not addressed, the staff will crumble and be run in the shadow of failure. Your only answer to this thread has been (besides the lame, repetitive S7P jokes) that admins are solving things right now. Firstly, this is not true. And secondly, that is what we hate. The staff of the past worked as a fluid, supportive team, not a bunch of janitors working under three head bosses. I have no qualms with the administrators as people (other than my personal issues with Naraku's lack of maturity), but feel that they must be more receptive to suggestions from staff. If this is laughable and impossible to achieve, I will resign, as I have promised. My position on the staff is not something I hold as a trophy above other members and it is something I am more than willing to step down from when I feel the staff has bruised me.
The personal attacks on me and disgustingly bland references to Animal House are off-topic and unecessary. If the issues presented by the Renaissance spur you on to attack fellow members and make far-fetched analogies, leave the thread. our haughtiness makes me want to wretch all over this thread, aerosol. You are in no position to command members to exit a thread, especially when your hypocrisy seeps through and you maintain a constant flow of flames and spam.
Also, if you are so determined to debase the character of people willing to place their necks on the line for change, like Maester, focus your attention on me. I would rather take your groundless flaming than see somebody less abrasive get attacked.
S7P is for spam. You're breaking forum guidelines by putting it in there. |

Because the thread has a point, which means it should be somewhere prominent until the matter is resolved.
Will someone PLEASE tell me why you won't adress any of the issues raised? Since about page 3 or 4, all we have had is people saying the thread is a waste of time.
I'm wondering, how many of the staff got a say in aerosol's re-modding? (Note: I am NOT depricating him or his abilities as a mod in any way whatsoever, I am simply wondering whether that was a move to assert power or what xP) |
