Can we see a screenshot?
In a few days, I plan to release a complete guide to premiere v4.0's highlights. This guide will only be available to staff members however.
Will the site and forums be temporarily closed while working on v4.0 like v3.0 was?
Due to the technology and PHP knowledge i've learned since v3.0 was first available, it will not be necessary. While each member is out exploring the many services and features on the site and forums, v4.0 will be hard at work on the same server, database, and site.
What exactly will be new in v4.0?
The Final Fantasy Republic Build Version 4.0 will feature a completely new, revamped design for both the site and forums. A couple of features will also be slipped into the mix, including our 2nd all-time feature, the turnpike. If you were here in 2001, you should remember the turnpike quite easily. A new functions system will also be introduced. Alongside these many highlights, you should expect redesigns for nearly every script running on the site and forums.
Which features are being revamped?
Everything available at this time. If you'd like a list, I can go through it for you, but that'd easily extend the message length barrier. 
Will the Battle System be compliant/work with 4.0?
Most certainly. In fact, I just may be nice enough to release the Battle System v3.0 and FFR v4.0 at the same time as a mid-way-to-Christmas gift. 
I'm using an 800x600 resolution, and the forums look "scrunched", will this be fixed in 4.0?
As of now, it has been resolved for v4.0. Expect it to appeal visually to both large resolutions and smaller resolutions.
Where's you damn content Mr. Final Fantasy Republic?
We understand that we aren't exactly the best at getting Final Fantasy-related content through each member. However, when v4.0 rolls around, we'll have a selective site-based staff that'll help contribute and complete each sector. Ethereal will be the leader in most site operations at that time.
What features will not work with v4.0?
Although nearly every file will be updated with a new grid system, all files should be compliant/workable through online use.
What will v4.0 be called? You know, with your "code names" you use.
I've named it Oblivion, off of my original blueprint drawing. |

so when 4.0 comes out mostly everything will be completed huh wow to me this is great i just want to read up on the contents of the site ive been waiting for it for a while..(and still waiting but i can wait) thanks...eric...if i can call you that
