New Button Set (for threads)
Working on making FFR 100% custom 
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
It's been in my mind for awhile; a new button set apart from the default vBulletin 'envelope' icons. The current button set can be found when searching and within each forum's thread list. More will be added onto it tonight to help limit queries in which will help improve the forums load factor.

Who the hell cares? There are much more important things that you should be working on. ****. This is worthless news. Why even bother telling us? We can see.
Now, I sent a PM with the things that need to be done...but apparently you're too busy making buttons to care, so I'll list them here.
First of all, registration isn't working quite right. I've had several people complain that they aren't getting a confirmation email, and that they get an error when they try to register.
Secondly, at least two vets have access to powers that they shouldn't have. I made a thread about this in the staff lounge that would be worth taking a look at.
Third, there are some features that many of us feel should be removed, and a few that we think should be brought back. Again, I made a thread about it in the staff lounge.
Care to do anything about the real problems around here? |

GamerGirl, I can see your frustration with me unable to complete those tasks, but I did receive your PM, and did read it over. I haven't looked into fixing them as of yet because I am running on a limited time schedule.
Possibly tonight or tomorrow, I may have time to look into them. I know they are large issues, nonetheless. |

hmm...
It would be better to sort the Account Confirmation thing first otherwise its no more newbies to join Final Fantasy Republic 
Same with the BS + Clan Feature as we lost lots of Members due to the BS Problems
But i have no say in the matter, but i just posted my thoughts  |

| I understand what your going through afterlab. Its good that you can at least get the small things done. Just try and get these important tasks done ASAP though. |

I hate to sound boring Eric. But personally I liked the enevelopes better. They're universally recognized accross all vB's and personally I've always used them to navigate across threads (looking for the dot symbol and so on).
Also GamerGirl has made some good points, yes I know the saying goes "It's the small things that matter" but I own a vB remember, and it takes less than 15 seconds to go to the options and turn off registration. Infact two of the problems GG bought up could be resolved in about 2 minutes, a period of time that is probably shorter than what it took to make the new buttons.
It's your forum though so.... |

| Don't you think you a bit hard on him, guys. He does what he can......and you make fun of him because a thread he posts. Seriously he doesn't have to have this forum. He doesn't have to pay to keep it up. Honestly, you people are a bit petty. Please enjoy the forums and the features of this website he has opened currently. C'mon guys get over it. |
