So.. Where Is This Battle System?

Unfortunatly, the Battle System was not completed today. A set release date for this Battle System will be Thursday. That is an uncomfirmed release date.
The reason for the delay is because of a recoding of the entire system. We're going in and recoding the Item Shop, Battle System, and RP system so that they will all work adjacent to each other. The Item Shop, in particular, will feature a more detailed statistical record for each Item. That, in return, will stimulate the strategic actions and combinations for each member in battle.
Another talked about issue about the Battle System is "Clans". Clans will not function when the Battle System premieres.. Clans, however, will eventually soak into the mix of the Battle System. That second release date will be estimated, next weekend.
Many have asked me how it'll all work, and how do you attack, etc.. Well check out this paragraph: Each member who wants to battle will be able to search for specific member stats and battle from there. They can also go into their myBattles and "Add a New Battle". From there, they can select who they'd like to battle against, and what "Terrain" they'd like the battle to take place on. After a battle's created, the person that the creator requested to battle with will be emailed, telling them that they've been sent a "Challenge". Player 2 (the creator's enemy) will then go into their myBattles and select either "Accept" or "Decline" as their option for that battle. Player 1 (creator) will then be sent an email concerning Player 2's choice. After that, Player 1 must "Start" the battle. If Player 2 suddenly needs to go somewhere, they can put the battle on "Hold", and that disables Player 1 from starting the battle until Player 2 resumes. Anyways, when the battle is eventually "Started", they can both enter the Battle Screen (preview of it shown in another thread in Republic HQ). At the Battle Screen, there will be options like "Normal Attack", "Flee", "Use Accessory", and "Use Abilities". When you select your action, you can click on "Attack". When you attack, it'll update the Battle Screen, and you'll be able to see how much damage, if any, you inflicted on the enemy. Then, your enemy, will repeat the same step you did, and eventually "Attack" with an option. It'll go on, back and forth, until there is someone who "Fled" or was "Killed". In the event of either, the winner will be awarded with an extra win count (soon to be named), updated levels, exp, hp, mp, and other fields yet to be named.
And don't worry, if you don't feel like reading all that, there will be a guide for the Battle System when the B/S is released.
I'll be here tomorrow, so any questions, concerns, and feedback on this information are welcome.
BTW: The RP glitch, in which your RP amount becomes reset, evidently is false. Although i've noticed that people's RP amount were reset.. There is no actual proof that any error in that field could have been done, because I haven't touched one single RP field and amount information today. |

o_O Anyway, I like how it sounds, and thanks for the explaination aswell.  I of course, have been wasting my time away in the Shout-Box... It's full of unique spam...That's right! Uh yeah. Well, I hope we can get the clan battles underway too. Too... tired to make educated comments... Will return... tomorro!

well , something to look forward to.
afterlab , i have a question. i know that you have allready reset everybody's levels, hp , mp etc, but the weapons have been left as they previously where. will you be resetting everyones weapons to make it completely equal when it starts ? |

What happened to all my RP? I had over 26000 in RP. I can't even spend $100 in one day. Can this be fixed? Please. I was looking foward to purchasing my own avatar.

That's rather odd. Some members seem to be losing their RP alright. :\
I would just give you some so you could change your avy, but then everyone who lost RP would want minor refunds. :\

Looks like you've been hit by something called 'Real Life' Afterlab. Don't worry, I'm sure we've all experienced a bit of trouble meeting deadlines in the past - I for one know exactly what it's like to have only a short amount of time free.
Well, when it is released, it will be worth the wait. |
