FFR Winter Repubbies - 2009 - Voting Thread

When I registered to this site back in '08, there already wasn't much of a member base compared to what it had been in the years prior. I asked numerous people why there were so few people nowadays, and what it had been like when there were many, or in its "heyday", as some of you put it. It turns out that I missed out on some good times and some bad times, the battle system and the Gold Saucer, loads of RPing, and probably some other stuff I forgot about. One of the things that intrigued me most, however, was the awards ceremony, if you will, that was held every so often. It had ever since I joined FFR been something I really wanted to partake in. That being said, I was most overjoyed when Kirstin, out of the blue, asked me if I wanted to host the winter Repubbies with her. So, without further ado and with great pleasure, we present to you:

SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER:
-As there is such a smaller member base, and as there were fewer total nominations because of it, we included all nominations, rather than the 4 per category it used to be.
-The same person cannot be both Republic King and Republic Prince. Same goes for Queen/Princess.
-Only one vote per category.
-In the case that a category has only one nomination, he/she is declared the winner.
-Categories deemed redundant were married (so there).
-All votes are to be sent via PM to either Kirstin (ECCENTRICHOCOBO) or myself.
-After a period of two weeks (Christmas Eve), we'll stop tallying votes and announce the winners.
