Well, maybe it doesn't have to be an event, but an on-going thing. Basically, I ran into this awesome LJ community on accident where each member signs up to do fan art based on one character or a group of characters from movies, books, games, shows, etc and draws pictures based on 100 words listed.
The rules are that no two people can have the same group of people, and you can't use the same picture for more than one word. If you choose to do a group of people, every character must be present in every picture. In the end, you'll end up with 100 pictures for your set.
If people would be interested, I wouldn't mind kicking this off, writing the thread and creating the rules. We could even add the Final Fantasy related ones to the main site.
