He's always busy.  I'm sure he'd still have FFD's battle system files. Him and Eric worked on it together to make the first ever battle system on a forum. Save yourself a lot of work and ask around, aye? |

They sound all good. I can't remember what the old battle system was like, but I'm pretty sure it was it was sword lvl1 > lvl5, etc. Now, as a suggestion for making it a little more varied, and of course, more complicated/harder to code, follow a FFXI approach. Not only have, for example, a single sword every few levels, instead, as there are several jobs availible, have different sword types availible for different jobs, etc.
As for the guild system, I think it could be good if it is ever finished. Obviously, more would have to be added to it, to maybe make it more intregrated with the battle system for a guilds wars or something. |
