Running off the legacy of one of the most popular computer games of all time, Advent Children brought the vision of Final Fantasy VII to a completely new medium - the movie screen. Thanks to the generosity of Desha (Kionae), Final Fantasy Republic's first exclusive site feature presents the movie in another new medium - the written word.
Over the last eight months, Desha has been working on directly translating the movie's story into the novel format. "I suppose my main reason for wanting to write this was simply because of the challenge... both because of the large scale, and the fact that I don't generally try to re-interpret someone else's work into a completely different format. It's something that I haven't tried before."
The feature will stay at the header of the site for a number of months, and we'll probably try to throw out one at least every 4 - 5 months. Some will about specific areas of the series, some of them will forum run activities.
