We have created a new member group for people who are authorized to work on the technical aspects of the forums software, but aren't actually moderators. Afterfl0w and Saizuchi will be permanent members of this usergroup (unless they resign), and I have added myself to it as well because it is increasingly unlikely that I will be able to maintain anything approaching my recent level of activity for the next several weeks until I get some coursework done.

Also the styling of their usernames probably won't look right for most people until they refresh http://forums.ffrepublic.com/includes/1.css.

So uh. Congrats to our new Tech Admins, I guess ;p

I'm glad to see there will be some people working on technical aspects of the forum, it is much needed and will keep the forum progressing in ways other than events and new staff. Good call! I love you guys!

They're basically going to be doing maintenance on the forums software. At some point we're probably going to upgrade to vB3.5 as well, and these two (plus Jonny and myself) will be instrumental in getting this to be possible. Although vB3.5 upgrade isn't anywhere near top priority at the moment.
