He's not just a tech admin.
Yeah I know, but if you're gonna just outright say you're too lazy to do anything you're supposed to do as a Tech Admin then whats the point in being one.

Meh, its up to you guys, but since Aaron seems to be the only active tech admin anyway, it sort of means nothing that needs coding or fixing that normal admins cant do basically just wont be done any time soon.

Then again I can see why it'd make sense to keep him as a tech admin since he hdoes have a fair bit of experience coding vB.

I'd just like to see some things get done instead of them being put off all the time.

I’m not actually listed as a tech admin right now for the reason that I haven’t really been working on **** lately

But I agree, **** needs to start getting done. Actually the primary reason I haven’t been working on it is that it uses up almost all my free time right now just to keep up with new posts, and by the time I get done with that I’m just so burnt out that I can’t be arsed with programming ****. This half of the summer semester ends next Thursday, so I should have a large block of free time after then to work on a lot of the stuff that’s been suggested.

Not sure if this was already suggested, but considering all the 'adult' content floating around lately, maybe there should be a forum for it? One that you have to enter your age and be 18 to view (doesn't even have to be eighteen, as AFAIK, 17 is pretty mature for it too). There are quite a few 12/13 year olds around and stuff, and though there are adulty warnings on the thread, they're probably still going to read them out of curiosity. It kind of seems like a good idea.

Yeah, that would be a good idea. We’ve been talking about the large amount of adult content strewn around the board lately; dunno what we’ll decide in the end, but that’s one possibility.

Well, the thing with that is, if they really wanted to see it, they could just put in a fake age. Only real way to keep them from seeing it is to not post it at all. Having an "adult" forum is really just an extra hassle to keep out members that will most likely get in anyway. *shrugs*

If we ever upgrade to vB3.5, there’s an option that only allows people to input their age when they register for that. But I think forcing them to say they’re above eighteen absolves us of a fair amount of responsibility anyway — they’re the ones lying about their ages

But then that would open the door to people wanting to post porn pics and such. And I like being able to post in an adult manner, while keeping my job.

So just don’t open any threads in there while at work Besides you said you didn’t mind getting fired as it would give you an excuse to move to California
