You know I've got at least one coming up. I'll probably start it some time this weekend, for sure. I agree, events would be a good way to bring the community together a bit more.

1. Is the Battle Arena being brought back? I know we had some problems with it before, and you are discussing it. We tried it last time but it of course never got off the ground.

Note: The RP Quizzes are postponed for the moment. Once an RP economy is set up, and I get a sponsor or RP...they will return. Otherwise, it will just be for fun.

My only gripe is that we have too many topics shown on the main forum menu. They need to be grouped or tucked away more into a sub forum (there are still some around, but should be grouped even more) having lots of thread tops is confusing  Especially for new commers. Entertainment for example should be added with Games/TV or a subform dividing them. |

The problem with sub-forums, and most of the staff are in agreement with this, is that the more of them you have, the further people have to dig to get to them, and the less activity in them there ends up being in the long run. It's why somewhere like ACF is slower than this place, despite having six times as many members.
It probably would be tidier if there were a few less sub-forums on the front page, but I'm not quite sure how to go about organising it myself. Anyone have any ideas? |

A lot of the sub forums are there for a reason. To split things up that need splitting up.
I dont actually see the number of forums as a problem. All it means is that you have to scroll down the page a bit more to get to the bottom.
At least everything is a lot easier to find as it is now. |

I know that I'm not going to be able to get that shoutbox removed off the front page but I'll get closer for myself.
Aaron was saying that you can press that arrow to make the shoutbox disappear, only problem with that is if you go into a forum or thread and then back to the main page then you've got to press the arrow again.
If there's any way that it can be made so minimizing the shoutbox means that it stays minimized until you click the arrow again, that'd be alright. |
