Goth Chick
hi! Anyway, I did this for fun, and there are several things i dislike about this;
first off, i think her head is a bit too big, the 'brick thingies' look nothing like brick, the stone nothing like stone, the tattoo on her inner thigh sucks, the thingies on her arms look like they're both made of different materials, a big "WTF" @ the background, the more i look at the rose on her skirt the more i wonder what I was on, the choker sucks ass, her legs looks ugh, kthxbye

My first attempt at total realism :
omfg, HI! This is my first attempt (okay, second <_< ) at drawing total realism, and this time i suceeded! (kinda) D
yo. It's supposed to be nicole kidman, but yeah, she didn't really look like nicole kidman in the photo anyway. Critique: her jaw bone is too out, and I got lazy half way through and can't be arsed to continue with the thing. the hair kidna sucks, and the shading is uneven. damned cotton buds.
but yeah, critique away!
<EDIT> Oh yeah, i forgot to meantion; i took i forgot whose advice and scanned it in on colour before changing it to grey scale, and i think it worked pretty well.
hmm, I don't like the fact that you cut off the goth chicks legs.. it makes her look.. too close, perhaps. and a bit squeezed into the pic. though the shading and composition is very, very nice. and her surroundings adds to a goth kind of feel. you did your job well.
the second pic is just great. is it on free hand, from a photo or of of a model..? she's beatiful. is it finished though?
anyway, great work. post more plz...
