Awakening Purity
Cleansing water drips slowly down my cheek
Dirt is pulled from the skin and brought to lay on the ground
In it's place, all darkness is removed
From the body
From the mind
From the soul
Past faults and mistakes that used to burden
Are transformed as scars become trophies
Philosophies of pessimism are turned aside and the good in all things shine brightly
Lights in the black
Diamonds in the dirt
Saints among demons
In likeness to a magnet
All great things revolve around me and days turn from clocks impending doom to pages written with golden quills
Reason and logic push aside words of pain and foolsrealize their twisted views
I rise
I discover
I obtain
My love may wait for years to come and wait I will for her
False dates and feelings remain among the ignorant
But the truth I have found leads me away from empty relationships
Knowledge brings understanding
Experience brings rank
Bravery brings true greatness |
