A... poem? ^^;

No, I do NOT write poetry often, nor am I a skilled writer. This is just something that completely randomly came into my head while I was idly staring at the wall in Algebra, thinking about how pretty 'December' and 'remember' rhymed, and singing Anastasia's 'Once Upon a December' in my head. So yeah... Just... sharing. ^^
Lost in a world that I fantasized
Away from the shelter of watchful eyes
I met the creation from past daydreams
Those many years ago-it seems.
I'd forgotten then the peace you feel
Lost in a world that's hardly real
But that white winter I was reminded
And once again was open-minded.
So there I stood in a world forgotten
No other thoughts that where I'd gotten.
And then I saw it overhead...
It went disregarded, until it said...
"My dear, you say you don't remember...
years ago during dark December?"
At that moment the world went white,
yet soon returned; to my delight.
I was back, with inspiration,
The thing that spoke? Imagination. |

Nice poem, I like it  Rhyming poems are much more difficult than regular ones, I commend your efforts.
