It's actually a Shakespearean sonnet (you'll figure out the rhyming pattern) I wrote the other night. Here goes nothin'.

If seeing is believing, you've made a believer out of me,
Upon setting my eyes on you, there could be nothing more true,
You've changed my life and soon it's gonna be,
I'm going to prove to the world, and especially you.
I'd give up all my worldy possessions, obsessions, and addictions,
You pulled me from the depths of my Hell into this heavenly place,
I've accepted my fate, it's time to atone for my sins,
My only wish is for one more day to gaze upon that beautiful face.
An eternity with you wouldn't do this justice,
For as love is lost and love is found,
There will probably never be an 'us',
But know I won't give up until I'm buried in the ground.

The world's gonna revolve, but my world will always revolve around thee. |
