| Hmm, a good pencil set will go a long way, but you have a decent talent in shading. The coloring on the hair is amazing. I'm not really entirely sure where the light-source is, so if there was one thing I'd tell you to improve is to pick one direction of light and stick with it for the whole thing. It'll make your art look more realistic and stick out more. |

I was mean to you earlier, but that's an awsome drawing. *Donates.
And having two left feet just means she won't be able to dance very well. |

Abel. Thanks for the compliments. For this I was going for a general light from above, but the lighting is something I can never seem to get right. Sometimes I draw a little dot in one corner of the page for a guide, but I just end up ignoring it.
Chaos. Yep, I can't imagine she would do that well at dancing. And being mean isn't a reason to donate RP, but if you really liked the drawing, then thank you. ^ ^ |

Really good quality colouring pencils make a huge ****ing difference. My mate once spent fifty quid on a set of these Chinese ones and they were absolutely beautiful to work with, really soft lead and vibrant opaque colours. Well worth the investment in better quality materials if you want a good result. Shame brushes cost so ****ing much though.
Anyways, it's an alirght drawing. I can't work out whether her arms are too long or if her legs are, I think they both might be too stretched out...I mean obviously it's a stylised drawing, but looking at standard proportions your average woman is, what, around five and a half heads tall, and this one is around seven, I'd say.
But yeah, nice colouring, could maybe do with a few darker values in there though. |

| Aye, I would say it's the legs that are too long. |

Thanks for the C&C LL. Yeah the legs might be a bit too long. The calves moreso than the thighs though I'd say, as I used a real life measuremeant for that part.
And yes. There are actually darker shades in there, but like I said, the scanner pretty much ruined it.
I'm a bit afraid to add more to it in case I ruin it. |

| One of the hardest things is knowing when to add more, and when to exercise restraint. Personally I'd probably leave that and move on to something else. |
