As unpopular as Tomb Raider seems to be these days, I quite like the early games. I'd really appreciate C&C on this, all feelings toward the series asside ^^

Here it be!!!

I used colouring pencils.

And the name of this thread.....well I thought it was an awesome pun [/lameness] xD

It looks kind of flat, possibly because the paper wasn't exactly straight when you scanned it. Almost as if the head looks a bit squashed. I sometimes get those problems when drawing front views anyways. I don't draw female figures a lot, but I did notice that the braid looks a bit stiff on the bottom (maybe because it's a braid!), but maybe it's because it's not curved or flows. Also, the right shoulder is a bit too angular and pointy. Maybe you meant to have her shoulder positioned higher, as in a kind of shrug, but it should probably be just higher and fluent with the rest of the body. The chest also looks awkward, most likely because it's a bit flat, but again, it may just be the scanner. The left hand isn't so bad, but the right hand seems a bit curved. Normally, hands are quite bony and angular, but I also sometimes have problems with drawing hands in that position. It just takes some practice. The right forearm also seems a bit short, but it's most likely because you meant for it to be coming out, so it looks like that. In order to make it look better, take lighting perspective into consideration and darken the area close to the joint (above the elbow), since the upper arm could be covering the light. But don't worry about it; lighting perspective also takes time. The ear is also too small. You normally won't see very much of the ear from a front view perspective, but it's still going to be the same height; just make it narrower.

Otherwise, the coloring on the clothes and skin are pretty good.

I hope I don't come off as an ogre or anything, but you did ask for comments and critique.

No, thank you for such an in dept analysis ^_^ I'm going to take a lot of it into consideration, actually. Good helpful criticism is hard to come by. And it's funny you should mention the colouring... my scanner really ruined it in that aspect.

Ah, well I never really worry about what the scanner does, as long as you didn't scan it while tilting it or something. But personally, I prefer to draw everything on the computer with tablet.
