Welcome to Republic Harbor! Republic Harbor is the hangout for those who love writing. Whether it's poetry, prose, or fanfiction, the budding writer is bound to love it here. Republic Harbor is also the house for pencil artists. Please read all details below before posting.
Guidelines
+ Plagiarism is strictly forbidden. If you have no writing or drawing skills of your own, then go post somewhere else.
+ Always use thread tags (see below; Tagging Your Thread).
+ Constructive critisism is welcome and encouraged (see below; Constructive Critisism).
Tagging Your Thread
With so much material being housed under one forum, it's difficult to tell what threads contain what type of material. To fix this problem, please use the "tags" below when creating your thread.
Tag--Description/When to Use it
[A]-- Add when you post up a thread containing artwork.
[FC]-- Add when you post up a thread containing fanfiction.
[L]-- Add when you post up a set of lyrics.[/u]
[ST]-- Add when you post up a story that is not fanfiction.
[P]-- Add when you post up a thread containing poetry.
[PR]-- Add when you post up a thread containing prose.
Add the tags to the beginning of your thread. Example:

Constructive Critisism
As stated before, constructive critisism is welcome. Remember to keep it constructive. That means that you must post something that can better a person's artwork or writing. Giving cruel critisism will result in an immediate warning. Please critisize with substance. Posting short, retarded, or self-proclaimed "witty" comments is not allowed. It makes you look stupid.
Getting "RPed"
Yes, I will be Republic Harbor's RP god. Good, interesting, and original work is what I'm looking for. 175 RP will be rewarded for very good art and writing, while I'll manually donate 10-100 gil for art and writing that isn't so grand. The "Helping Another" reward may count for those who give solid, well thought-out, and constructive critisisms. 250 RP will be rewarded, but these reward points are very hard to come by. If you see a work that you feel deserves to be RPed, notify me via IM or PM. Do not whore your own work. I'll null any RP points that will ever go toward you.
